**Job Description:**
\nThe Supply Chain Director at Fleetwood is responsible for ensuring a seamless supply chain process and setting strategic direction within the assigned business unit. This role involves overseeing material planning, inventory control, production scheduling, and developing a high-performing supply base. Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
– Owning master scheduling, material processing, supplier quality, warehousing, inventory accuracy, and logistics
\n– Ensuring compliance and safety in warehousing and material handling
\n– Managing supply base delivery performance and supplier quality
\n– Collaborating with strategic sourcing and procurement for supplier development and cost-saving objectives
\n– Implementing LEAN principles and continuous improvement initiatives
\n– Developing and maintaining inventory strategies to meet production requirements and cost improvement goals<\/p>\n
**Candidate Profile:**
\nThe ideal candidate should possess:
\n– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management preferred)
\n– Minimum 10 years of experience in Distribution or Supply Chain Management, preferably in a Lean Manufacturing environment
\n– Strong leadership skills and experience in leading large-scale change processes
\n– Proficiency in MRP\/ERP systems like JDE, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
\n– Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
**Preferred Qualifications:**
\n– CPM\/APICS CPIM certification
\n– Ability to adapt to different leadership styles and effectively drive change
\n– Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
\n– Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player<\/p>\n
