**Position: Parts Distribution Manager**<\/p>\n

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Parts Distribution Manager to direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our parts distribution warehouse. **Responsibilities:**
\n– Ensure that facility budget and SLA targets meet or are favorable; monitor spending and manage to budget
\n– Drive maximum utilization of resources, including people, processes, and technology for the facility
\n– Provide direction in leading safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals
\n– Recommend distribution policies and programs to maintain and improve competitive position and profitability
\n– Prepare, maintain, and communicate operational goals while ensuring procedures are followed per company guidelines
\n– Collaborate with leadership in the development of long-term operational plans
\n– Monitor space utilization, optimization, and layout for efficient and cost-effective operations
\n– Manage, coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve objectives; conduct performance reviews and corrective counseling
\n– Participate in recruitment and new hire onboarding process, fostering a People Centered Management culture
\n– Initiate and coordinate major projects, including facility layout changes, new WMS functionality, facility relocation, major repairs, etc.
\n– Establish new processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational management and fulfillment functions
\n– Utilize lean methodology for process improvement and maintain daily coaching for distribution optimization
\n– Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and productivity standards
\n– Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day performance of operations
\n– Transform data into meaningful information and define activities for improvement in warehouse\/distribution operations
\n– Perform other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
**Qualifications:**
\n– Bachelor\u2019s degree
\n– 4-6 years related experience with 2+ years of people leadership experience
\n– Growth-oriented with high energy level for process and performance improvement
\n– Strong attention to detail and proven track record of continuous improvement in a distribution setting
\n– Effective team building and mentoring skills
\n– Effective communication skills (written & verbal) with all levels of the organization
\n– Strong computer skills
\n– Lean manufacturing principles a plus
