Job purpose<\/p>\n
Reporting to the North America Aftermarket Director of Supply Chain & Logistics, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing demand and supply planning strategies to ensure product availability while maintaining lean inventory levels. This role is critical in driving a high customer order fill rate and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the automotive aftermarket industry, with a comprehensive understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes. Additionally, this position will lead and mentor a team of supply and demand planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Demand & Supply Planning: Develop and execute demand forecasting and supply planning strategies to align with business objectives, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimal stockouts.
\n\u2022 Inventory Management: Maintain a balance between product availability and cost efficiency, optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
\n\u2022 Process Optimization: Implement and refine supply chain best practices, leveraging data analytics to drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance operational performance.
\n\u2022 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with procurement, product, category, sales, operations, and logistics teams to synchronize supply chain activities with business goals.
\n\u2022 Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, respecting contractual obligations and ensuring consistent, high-quality supply chain performance.
\n\u2022 Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply and demand planning professionals, promoting a results-driven and collaborative work environment.
\n\u2022 KPI Monitoring & Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fill rates, forecast accuracy, and supply chain costs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
\n\u2022 Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
\n\u2022 Technology & Systems Enhancement: Leverage advanced supply chain tools, ERP systems, and data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline operations.<\/p>\n
What we\u2019re looking for
\n\u2022 Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
\n\u2022 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or similar role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry or a related sector.
\n\u2022 Proven track record in developing and executing integrated supply chain strategies.
\n\u2022 Strong working knowledge with Demand Planning software, Material Requirements Planning and SAP ERP.
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge and execution of Sales & Operations Planning.
\n\u2022 Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
\n\u2022 Ability to collect and analyze data to make informed supply chain decisions.
\n\u2022 Strong staff leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
\n\u2022 Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.<\/p>\n
