Our team in High Point, North Carolina is hiring a Senior Supply Chain Manager for a permanent opportunity with Axalta.<\/p>\n
The Senior Supply Chain Manager provides leadership to define, implement, and optimize the supply-chain strategies and objectives in support of business strategies.<\/p>\n
As a successful candidate will evaluate the competitiveness of the business supply chain with respect to service, cost, and investment and will lead improvement activities in supply chain processes. You will also ensure alignment with regional and global supply chain work processes.<\/p>\n
As Senior Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for:
\n\u2022 Managing fully effective monthly demand and supply reviews to support the monthly Axalta Integrated Business Management process and meeting customer demand at acceptable cost and inventory investment.
\n\u2022 Leading the monthly inventory management process to minimize non-productive inventory and meet annual inventory investment targets set in the annual budget.
\n\u2022 Understanding customer needs and demand changes and takes action to address changing needs.
\n\u2022 Ensuring personal development plans for all team members and coaches team members to learn to skills and improve their performance.
\n\u2022 Performing required SOX controls and establishes remediation plans for any controls that are not effective.
\n\u2022 Collaborating effectively with regional supply chain, procurement, commercial, customer service, finance, logistics and technology to deliver results.
\n\u2022 Identifying and delivering on continuous improvement projects to improve service at the right cost.
\n\u2022 Owning the integrity of applicable master data in the planning and ERP systems.
\n\u2022 Using the agreed supply chain metrics to track and manage supply chain process performance, to include forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF and inventory metrics both IDS and DFC.
\n\u2022 Supporting the annual business planning and long-term strategic planning process for the Industrial supply chains.
\n\u2022 Following supply chain processes to set and manage safety stock levels, MTO\/MTS channel assignments, production schedule changes.
\n\u2022 Meeting applicable regulatory and compliance policies for Axalta.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree required (With focus in Supply Chain preferred; if not Supply Chain focused degree, must have CPIM or CSCP, ASCM\/APICS certifications).
\n\u2022 10+ years\u2019 relevant supply chain leadership experience required.
\n\u2022 Experience with demand planning, master scheduling, detailed scheduling, materials planning, toll planning and\/or logistics.
\n\u2022 SAP ERP Integration
\n\u2022 Strong experience with Excel (VLOOKUPS) and PowerPoint (presenting to high level VP\u2019s)<\/p>\n
Preferred
\n\u2022 Experience in in coatings or chemicals manufacturing preferred.
\n\u2022 Experienced practitioner of Integrated Business Planning or Sales and Operations Planning.
\n\u2022 Proficient with advance planning systems like SAP IBP or OMP Plus.
\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
\n\u2022 Demonstrated capability to drive process improvement.
\n\u2022 Supply Chain certification (CPIM or CSCP, ASCM\/APICS) preferred<\/p>\n
