Role Summary
\nRaytheon is seeking a procurement professional to join the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) procurement team. This position will be within the Product Support product line. The selected individual will be responsible for procurement efforts in support of multiple programs within the Product Support business area.<\/p>\n
What You Will Do:
\n\u2022 Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.
\n\u2022 Place purchase orders of medium complexity and medium volume. Support on less and more complex work will be required at times as well.
\n\u2022 Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analyses, conduct negotiations (including terms and conditions), and identify supplier risks, with guidance as needed.
\n\u2022 Ensure that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
\n\u2022 Work cross functionally with engineering, quality, and program management along with other key functional groups to ensure program needs are met by resolving obstacles that require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
\n\u2022 Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
\n\u2022 Communicate clearly and be proactive in a fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.
\n\u2022 Assist in the training of peer procurement professionals as needed.<\/p>\n
Qualifications You Must Have:
\n\u2022 Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field..
\n\u2022 Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain.
\n\u2022 Experience participating in formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements).
\n\u2022 Experience communicating both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers
\n\u2022 Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
\n\u2022 U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program\/contract.<\/p>\n
Qualifications We Prefer:
\n\u2022 Experience performing and comprehending price analyses, sole selection\/justification, and analysis of supplier quotation.
\n\u2022 Ability to travel domestically\/internationally, if required.
\n\u2022 DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR\/DFARS).
\n\u2022 Experience with SAP and Ariba.
\n\u2022 Six sigma and productivity improvement experience.
\n\u2022 Level 4 acquisition certification
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of Raytheon systems, processes, and procedures<\/p>\n

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD – 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate\u2019s work experience, location, education\/training, and key skills.<\/p>\n
